Abstract
The invention relates to a method and device for determining the torque applied upon the rotary body that can be driven about an axis of rotation, comprising a first and a second sensor, which are respectively arranged with a fastening element at the rotary body at an axial distance from each other, and which comprise rings surrounding the rotary body comprising fields showing alternating different signal behaviors, with one transmitter being allocated jointly to the first sensor and the second sensor, which jointly accept from the two sensors an output signal, from which a square-wave signal is formed, from which in a first step from the flank distances of certain inclining and/or declining flanks of the square-wave signal constant values Ti, are formed, which are dependent on the geometry of the rings of the two sensors, and variable values αi, which are dependent on the torque applied.
