Abstract

A method of executing a wagering event using card symbols comprising:

a player position placing at least one wager of value at risk against a paytable. The player position receiving multiple specialty playing cards comprising a top section and a bottom section, the top half of each specialty playing card having a random rank and a first color, the bottom half of each specialty playing card having a random rank and a second color. Creating an optimal set of at least one or at least two specialty playing card hands based on a first hand formed by all top halves of the multiple specialty playing cards and a second hand formed by all bottom halves of the multiple specialty playing cards. Resolving the at least one wager for at least one of the original two hands first and/or the final first and second hands against a paytable.
