An apparatus comprising a light source (110), one or more light guides (104), and a light diffuser (102) having an integration chamber (114) surrounded by one or more light diffusive areas (108). The one or more light diffusive areas are configured with one or more first openings as one or more ingress areas (112) to receive light from the light source and one or more second openings as one or more egress areas (106) to provide light to the one or more light guides.
