Abstract
The present invention is directed to, amongst other things, detection of the causes of communications failures primarily between a base station and wireless headset and then taking action in response thereto, such as notifying the user wearing the headset. The wireless telephone sound interface device (2, 22) is characterized in that the device controller (41) further is adapted to estimate a disconnection cause for said disconnection and to control the electronic circuit (42-49) in dependence on the estimated disconnection cause.
