Abstract
A portable layout hunting blind that easy to transport and deploy in the field that includes a frame having a back frame portion and a base frame portion attached relative to the back frame to form a generally L-shaped frame configuration, the distal ends of the back and base frames configured to rest on the ground to form a slanted back support to produce a layout hunting blind when in a deployed condition, the backpack assembly further including a bag portion having an inner bag side adjacent the back frame and a bottom side adjacent the base frame wherein the frame is a backpack frame when in a transportable condition, the backpack assembly further including a pair of shoulder straps extending along the slanted back support to carry the backpack blind and a covering blind configured to lay over the hunter when in the deployed condition.
