Abstract
A two-way passive acoustic concentrator for a mobile phone is generally horn-shaped with a narrow throat portion divided into a speaker horn chamber and a microphone horn chamber. The mobile phone is retained in a way to acoustically couple its speaker and microphone to the respective chamber of the acoustic concentrator. As a result, speaker sound amplification as well as sound concentration for the microphone can be achieved to provide a hands-free two-way speaker operation of the mobile phone.
