Abstract
The present invention is directed to a color-pigmented paint composition with high hiding power, comprising a solvent or a solvent mixture and
- a.) based on the total formulation, 1% to 80% by weight of a polysilazane of the formula (1)—(SiR′R″—NR′″)n− (1)andb.) based on the total formulation 1% to 15% by weight, particularly 2% to 8% by weight, of one or more pigmentswherein R′, R″, and R″′ are alike or different and independently of one another are hydrogen or an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aryl, vinyl or (trialkoxysilyl)alkyl radical, n being an integer and n having a magnitude such that the polysilazane has a number average molecular weight of 150 to 150 000 g/mol.
