Abstract
The invention provides aqueous resin emulsion containing a resin obtained by reaction of a composition containing at least:
- at least one polyhydric alcohol having at least two hydroxyl groups,at least one polyetherpolyol having a molecular weight of 400 to 8000 g/mol,at least one monobasic carboxylic acid, andat least one polybasic carboxylic acid having at least two carboxyl groups or its anhydride,to form a resin and the resin emulsion is modified by providing basic groups. The invention further relates to a process for preparing a resin, to a resin as obtained by the process and to a coating film obtained from the resin emulsion.
