Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for treating or reducing the development of a hyperproliferative disorder, which comprises administering to a subject a composition, which comprises as an active ingredient the compound represented by the Formula 1: ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 independently represent hydrogen, halo, hydroxyl, cyano, amino, nitro, nitroso, carboxyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.2-C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.5-C.sub.7 cycloalkenyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkylamino, C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, arylalkyl, arylalkenyl or alkylaryl; X and Y independently represent hydrogen, oxygen, or sulfur, bound to a carbon atom via a single or double bond; Z represents hydrogen, halo, hydroxyl, cyano, amino, nitro, nitroso, carboxyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.2-C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.5-C.sub.7 cycloalkenyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkylamino, C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, arylalkyl, arylalkenyl, alkylaryl or --NH--R.sub.8; R.sub.8 represents hydrogen, halo, hydroxyl, cyano, amino, nitro, nitroso, carboxyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.2-C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.5-C.sub.7 cycloalkenyl, C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkylamino, C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, arylalkyl, arylalkenyl or alkylaryl; n is an integer of 0-3.
