Abstract
The present invention relates to a dental glass containing 50 to 70 wt. % of SiO.sub.2, 5 to 18 wt. % of Al.sub.2O.sub.3, 6.1 to 30 wt. % of MgO, 1 to 15 wt. % of La.sub.2O.sub.3, 1 to 15 wt. % of WO.sub.3, 0.1 to 8 wt. % of ZrO.sub.2, and optionally further oxides except for the oxides of Sr, Ba or alkali metals, wherein the stated quantities in total add up to 100 wt. %.
