Abstract
The present invention has as an aim a cosmetic and/or dermatological and/or pharmaceutical composition comprising, as an active ingredient, at least a peptide of sequence X.sub.1-Y-Phe-Thr-X.sub.2-Ala-Thr-Z-Ile-X.sub.3-Leu-X.sub.4-Phe-Leu-X.sub- .5 (SEQ ID NO: 1); wherein: X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3, X.sub.4, X.sub.5=Arg, Lys, His; Y=Asp, Glu; Z=Asn, Gln, or one of its fragment containing from 4 to 7 amino acids, and the motif Phe-Leu. The invention also relates to a method for preventing or treating skin against the manifestations of cutaneous aging.
