The method includes the steps of: providing a breath treatment unit that is configured to be hand-holdable by a user; through the hand-holdable breath treatment unit, directing into the user's mouth a quantity of a breath treating substance; and discharging the breath treating substance through the hand-holdable breath treatment unit.
