Abstract
In an exemplary sharpening element storage embodiment of the present invention, a sharpening element (5000) may be inserted in a groove (5001) that would be provided in an interior wall (5004) of a knife handle (or knife blade housing) (5005). When the first notch (5002), located in the blade's tongue (5003), in the knife blade (5006) is aligned with the conforming shape of the first end (5008) of the groove (5001), it would be possible to move the sharpening element (5000) in the direction of the opposing handle part (not shown), out from the groove (5001), in order to extract the sharpening element (5000) completely out from the knife handle (5005) for use.
