Abstract
Perfluoropolyethers obtained by oxidation of perfluorodioxoles of formula (I) ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.f=--F, --(O).sub.yC.sub.nF.sub.2n+1 with y=0, 1 and n=1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and with W=--F, --C.sub.nF.sub.2n+1, optionally in the presence of tetrafluoroethylene and/or hexafluoropropene, and subsequent reduction of the obtained peroxidic perfluoropolyethers.
