Abstract
The invention relates to a roasting/grilling device with a roasting/grilling plate (7) and with a thermostatic regulation of the roasting/grilling power. For this the temperature of the roasting/grilling plate (7) is monitored in a contactless manner by way of electromagnetic radiation. In combination with an efficient regulation and control unit, suitably arranged heating elements, preferably induction coils (30), as well as with a special roasting/grilling plate surface, an optimal roasting/grilling of food to be roasted/grilled becomes possible, in particular due to the fact that the temperature drops which are otherwise common with roasting/grilling device are prevented.
