Abstract
A color CRT is disclosed to improve a production yield of a panel by reducing a damage due to a thermal impact in a furnace in a thermal treatment process in fabricating the panel and accomplish a light-weight product and a cost reduction compared to the same type CRT, for which a following condition is satisfied: -1.7168*Ln(U)+11.627.ltoreq.(Rh*Rv*Ro/U)*Tc.ltoreq.-2.0131*Ln(U)+13.645, where U is a diagonal size of an effective surface of the panel, Rh, Rv and Ro are parameters determined based on dimensions of the panel, and Tc is the thickness of the panel at its center point.
