Abstract
The invention provides a multi-step process for preparing 1,2-diamino compounds of formula ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.1', R.sup.2, R.sup.2', R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the meaning given in the specification and pharmaceutically acceptable addition salts thereof, from 1,2-epoxides of formula ##STR00002## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.1', R.sup.2 and R.sup.2' have the meaning given in the specification.
