A polylactic acid resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a polylactic acid, (A) 0 to 10 parts by weight of a phenol antioxidant, and (B) 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of at least one amide compound selected from the group consisting of (b-1) an acyclic amide, (b-2) a cyclic amide, (b-3) an acyclic hydrazide, and (b-4) a cyclic hydrazide or (b-5) a compound represented by formula (P): ##STR1##
