Abstract
A jack for a plug-jack combination, having a spark protection sleeve (12) and a jack contact (1) fixed in the spark protection sleeve (12). The jack contact (1) is pretensioned solely by an elastic, reversible deformation of its contact elements in the final, assembled state. The contact elements from a contact part (6) that preferable establishes a press fit fixing the jack contact to the spark protection sleeve.
