Abstract
A procedure for the semi-blind separation and detection of digital co-channel signals, whereby after a simultaneous spatial-temporal equalization, iterative projections of the symbol vectors to be detected, in a vector subspace or a symbol alphabet .OMEGA. of finite size are initialized making use of a network user identifier ID.sub.i. These projections are then used to adapt the symbol vectors S.sub.i to the vector subspace and to the symbol alphabet .OMEGA. of finite size, making use of the method of least squares algorithm but performing only matrix multiplications without eigenvalue or singular decompositions.
