A dielectric ceramic composition for microwave use having a relative permittivity .epsilon.r of 35 to 45, Qf.sub.0 value of more than 50,000 GHz (at 7 GHz), and dielectric characteristic of .tau.f=0.+-.10 ppm/.degree. C includes an La.sub.2 O.sub.3.Al.sub.2 O.sub.3.SrO.TiO.sub.2 based ceramic composition and a specific quantity of Ga.sub.2 O.sub.3 to increase the Qf.sub.0 value and a specific amount of Pr.sub.2 O.sub.3 to control the .tau.f value.
