Abstract

A compound of formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is unsubstituted or substituted aryl or heteroaryl, the substituents of the aryl and heteroaryl rings being selected, for example, from the group consisting of OH, halogen, CN, NO.sub.2, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl-C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 halocycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy and phenyl; phenoxy; phenylthio; phenylamino; and phenyl-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl)-amino; the substituents of the phenoxy, phenylthio, phenylamino and phenyl-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl)-amino groups being selected from the group consisting of halogen, CN, NO.sub.2, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 halocycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkylthio, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkylthio, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkylthio and C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 halocycloalkylthio; R.sub.2 is, for example, H, OH, halogen, CN, NO.sub.2, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy; A is, for example, a single bond, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkylene, O or O(C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkylene); R.sub.4 is H, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, N(R.sub.5).sub.2 or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkyl; R.sub.5 is H, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl or aryl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl; X.sub.1 is R.sub.10 ; X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 are each independently of the other H or R.sub.10 ; R.sub.10 is, for example, halogen, CN, NO.sub.2, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl; and n is 0, 1 or 2, and to their physiologically tolerable and agrochemically acceptable addition compounds, and where appropriate to E/Z isomers, to mixtures of E/Z isomers and/or to tautomers, in each case in free form or in salt form. The compounds, in free form or in agrochemically acceptable salt form, exhibit advantageous pesticidal properties. They are suitable especially in the control of pests in agriculture and stored goods and also in the keeping of domestic animals.
