Abstract
Isolated nucleic acid molecules are provided which encode Fkh.sup.sf, as well as mutant forms thereof. Also provided are expression vectors suitable for expressing such nucleic acid molecules, and host cells containing such expression vectors. Assays that are based upon the nucleic acid sequences disclosed herein (as well as mutant forms thereof), may be used for identifying numerous molecules that modulate the immune system. Molecules that specifically bind to an Fkh.sup.sf polypeptide are also provided as useful, such as, for modulating the biological activities of Fkh.sup.sf. In particular, antibodies that are specific for Fkh.sup.sf polypeptide are provided for uses such as for detecting the expression of an Fkh.sup.sf polypeptide in cells, isolating an Fkh.sup.sf polypeptide, and modulating the activity of an Fkh.sup.sf polypeptide.
