This invention relates to compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## where Z is SO.sub.3 M, COOR.sup.1, CONR.sup.1, SO.sub.2 NHR.sup.1, NHCOR.sup.1, COR.sup.2, or CN, where R.sup.1 is M or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl and R.sup.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl or phenyl, X is O or NR.sup.3, where R.sup.3 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, Y is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, M is hydrogen, an alkali metal cation, or an optionally substituted ammonium ion, n is from 4 to 35, and m is 0, 1 or 2.
