Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a device for converting a preferably weak acid ion-exchange material from the H form into the Ca form, according to which the ion-exchange material is brought into contact with an aqueous, preferably saturated, Ca(OH).sub.2 (calcium hydroxide) solution.
