Abstract
A catalyst, which can be used in the Fischer-Tropsch process, and contains cobalt oxide having crystals with an average size ranging from 20 to 80 .ANG. supported on an inert carrier of alumina. A preparation process for the catalyst and a Fischer-Tropsch process utilizing the catalyst are also provided.
