Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent one or more, same or different substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, hydroxy, mercapto, trifluoromethyl, amino (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.3)olefinic group, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkoxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkylthio, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6)alkylamino, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkoxycarbonyl, cyano, carbamoyl, phenyl, or nitro; R.sub.2 further being represented by hydrogen; R.sub.3 represents hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, mercapto, trifluoromethyl, amino, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.3)olefinic group, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkoxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkylthio, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6)alkylamino, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkoxycarbonyl, phenyl, cyano, carboxy or carbomoyl; R.sub.4 represents hydrogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkyl, or allyl; X represents oxygen or sulpher; with the proviso that formula (I) does not comprise the compound 2,2,2-trifluoro-N-[2-[3-chloro-4-(2-methylbenzoyl)-phenylamino]-phenyl]acetamide wherein R.sub.1 is a 2-methyl, R.sub.2 is 2-chloro, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is hydrogen, and X is oxygen; and a salt thereof with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid, a hydrate or a solvate thereof. The compounds are valuable in the human and veterinary therapy. ##STR1##
