Abstract

The present invention relates to dyes of formula ##STR1## wherein R is methyl or butyl, R.sub.1 is hydrogen, halogen, cyano or nitro, R.sub.2 is halogen or cyano, R.sub.3 is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, R.sub.4 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, halogen, CF.sub.3 or --NHCOR.sub.7 wherein R.sub.7 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.5 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl that is unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxy, cyano, acyloxy, ##STR2## or by phenoxy, x being a number from 0 to 4 and it being possible for the alkyl chain, from C.sub.2 upwards, optionally to be interrupted by one or more oxygen atoms, or is a radical of formula --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --O--COR.sub.8, of formula ##STR3## or of formula ##STR4## and R.sub.6 is a radical of formula --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --O--COR.sub.8 or of formula ##STR5## R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 each independently of the other being C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl and R.sub.10 being hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, or, when R is methyl, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are each independently of the other C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, with the proviso that when R is n-butyl and R.sub.5 and/or R.sub.6 is/are a radical of formula --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --O--COR.sub.8, R.sub.4 may not be chlorine or acetylamino, and also to the process for the preparation thereof and to the use thereof in dyeing or printing fibre materials, especially polyester-containing textile materials.
