Abstract
The present invention relates to novel benzopyranyl heterocycle derivatives of the formula 1, process for preparation thereof and pharmaceutical use of the benzopyranyl heterocycle derivatives. The benzopyranyl heterocycle derivatives of the present invention can be used for protecting heart, brain, retina and neuronal cell from 'ischemia-reperfusion' injury, treatment for diseases related to it and suppressing lipid peroxidation. ##STR1## Wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, n and * are each defined in specification.
