Abstract
A recording and/or reproducing device (1) comprises movable holder means (46) for holding a record carrier (26), the holder means (46) being guided along a substantially L-shaped guiding path with the aid of guide means (76) between a loading position and an operating position, and comprises at least one actuating slide (83, 84) for moving the holder means (46), which actuating slide (83, 84) is coupled to the holder means (46) via at least one cam-and-follower device (K1, K2, K3), spring means (141) being provided, which act between the actuating slide (83, 84) and the holder means (46) and, during a movement of the holder means (46) from their loading position into their operating position first cause the holder means (46) to move in a first direction of movement (74) and subsequently cause the holder means (46) to move in a second direction of movement (75), and each cam-and-follower device (K1, K2, K3), has only a single cam surface (87, 88, 89), and further ensure that each the cam follower (71, 72, 73) remains constantly in contact with the single cam surface (87, 88, 89) of a cam-and-follower device (K1, K2, K3).
