Abstract
It has been found, in accordance with the present invention, that a high molecular weight polyester, when reacted with a poly or diisocyanate in an NCO:OH ratio of 0.7:1 to 1:0.7, produces a high molecular weight hydroxy terminated prepolymer which is stirrable above 120.degree. C. and sufficiently stable prior to reaction with additional di or polyisocyanate or optional additional polyols to produce a reactive hot melt adhesive.
