Abstract

Substituted 1,2,3,4,5,6-hexahydro-2,6-methano-3-benzazocines of general formula 1: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be identical or different, are each hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyloxy, OH, F, Cl, or Br; R.sup.3 is hydrogen, F, Cl, Br, methyl, ethyl, OH, or methoxy; R.sup.4, R.sup.5, and R.sup.6, which may be identical or different, are each hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl; X is NH.sub.2, NH-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl), N(C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl).sub.2, the two C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl groups of which may be identical or different, NH--COH, NH--CO(C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl), or F; A is --(CH.sub.2).sub.3 --, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--, --CH.sub.2 --O--CH.sub.2 --, --(CH.sub.2).sub.4 --, --CH(C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl)-O--CH.sub.2 --, --(CH.sub.2).sub.2 --O--CH.sub.2 13 , --(CH.sub.2).sub.3 --O--, --(CH.sub.2).sub.5 --, --CH.sub.2 --O--(CH.sub.2).sub.3 --, --(CH.sub.2).sub.2 --O--(CH.sub.2).sub.2 --, --(CH.sub.2).sub.3 --O--CH.sub.2 --, --(CH.sub.2).sub.4 --O--, --CH.sub.2 --O--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--, ##STR2## the racemates thereof, the enantiomers thereof, the diastereomers thereof, and mixtures thereof, and the pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, processes for preparing them, and their use as pharmaceutical compositions.
