Abstract
A photoconductive imaging member includes a photogenerating layer and a charge transport layer, wherein the charge transport layer contains charge transport components and a poly(imide-carbonate) binder of general structure (I) or general structure(II): ##STR1## where A, B, and E are divalent linkages; D is a trivalent linkage in (I) and a tetravalent linkage in (II); and x and y are the mole fractions of the repeating units such that x+y is equal to 1. The poly(imide carbonates)s can be made by interfacial polycondensation of bischloroformate, bis(imidephenol) and bisphenol.
