Abstract
The present invention relates to an environmentally friendly liquid for the prevention of freezing of aircrafts and runways, said liquid being particularly suitable to various spraying equipments. The vapor pressure of the said liquid is less than 5 Pa, and the acute oral toxicity, LD.sub.50, is more than 10 000 mg/kg. This anti-freezing liquid comprises 10-60 wt. % trimethyl glycin or derivatives thereof, and 40-90 wt. % water, and optionally additives known for anti-freezing liquids.
