Abstract

A 3-anilino-2-cycloalkenone derivative of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein, R.sub.1 represents a C.sub.1 to C.sub.8 alkyl group, which may have a substituent, except for a methyl group, a C.sub.3 to C.sub.7 cycloalkyl group, a 3-tetrahydrofuryl group, an 2-indanyl group, etc., R.sub.2 represents a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl group, R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.3 to C.sub.7 alkyl group, which may have a substituent, a C.sub.3 to C.sub.7 cycloalkyl group, etc., R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl group, which may have a substituent, a halogen atom, etc., R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, and R.sub.8 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl group, which may have a substituent, etc., X represents --(CR.sub.11 R.sub.12).sub.n --, wherein n is 0 to 2, R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl group, which may have a substituent, etc. or --NR.sub.13 -- wherein R.sub.13 represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl group, which may have a substituent, and its optical isomers or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts or their hydrates or solvates.
