Abstract
According to the invention there are provided Hexahydro-Pyrrolo[3,4-b]pyrrol-2-one compounds of formula (1), (relative stereochemistry indicated), wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are as defined in the specification. Compounds of formula (1) are useful inter alia in the treatment or chronic bronchitis.
