Abstract
A power transmission belt having a body with a length and defined by a cushion rubber layer having at least one load carrying cord embedded therein and extending lengthwise with respect to the body, and a compression section made at least partially from rubber. The cushion rubber layer has a rubber composition including an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin elastomer capable of being cross-linked with sulfur. The rubber in the compression section is a rubber composition made from an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin elastomer capable of being cross-linked with an organic peroxide.
