Abstract
The present invention relates to a water-dilutable polyester comprising a) at least 25 mol-% of cycloaliphatic structural units, preferably from 30 to 50 mol-%, b) up to 20 mol-% of aromatic structural units, preferably from 10 to 15 mol-%, c) at least 30 mol-%, preferably from 35 to 50 mol-%, of aliphatic diols having a number of carbon atoms .gtoreq.4, and d) at least 20 mol-%, preferably from 25 to 40 mol-%, of polyols containing branched aliphatic chains.
