Abstract
A novel design and method of manufacturing confetti uses an interior cutout type die-cutting process. The resulting die cut confetti has unique and unusual aerodynamic features creating visually pleasing flight patterns. The predominant descent pattern of this new confetti is a hover action. The confetti rocks slightly back and forth during its descent but primarily remains parallel to the ground.
