Abstract
This invention relates to a temperature-sensitive (ts) feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) virus, which is characterized by substantially reduced growth at 39.degree. C. as compared with its growth at 31.degree. C. Also included in this invention is the use of the ts-FIP virus for oral or intranasal administration to cats as a vaccine to induce immunity against FIP.
