Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel 2-chloro-3-arylamino-1,4-naphthoquinone derivative represented by the following formula (I), which has a potent inhibitory activity against platelet aggregation: ##STR1## in which X represents nitrogen (N) or carbon (C) atom and R represents cyano, or R can further represent alkyl, carboxyl or acyl when X represents nitrogen (N) atom, and to a process for preparing thereof and to a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting blood coagulation which comprises the compound of formula (I) as an active ingredient.
