Abstract
An acaricide which contains as an effective ingredient an oxazoline or thiazoline compound represented by the following formula ##STR1## wherein, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, Z and A are as defined in the description. This acaricide has an excellent acaricidal activity against house dust mites and mites and ticks which parasitize pets or wild animals or birds.
