Abstract
The invention is a process for degreasing animal skins in which the animal skin to be degreased is contacted with a mixture of a predominantly saturated C.sub.12 -C.sub.18 fatty alcohol ethoxylate having an average of not more than 15 EO groups and a predominantly saturated C.sub.6-10 fatty alcohol ethoxylate having an average of not more than 3 EO groups.
