Abstract
A stain-blocking, mildewcide and biocide resistant aqueous coating compositions containing synthetic or natural polymer includes a soluble zinc ammonium complex. The zinc ammonium complex has the formula Zn(NH.sub.3).sup.+2.sub.n X.H.sub.2 O where n is a number from 4 to 6 and X is selected from a group consisting of acetate, borate, carbonate, citrate and phosphate.
