Abstract
A method for producing low odor meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid is provided whereby a meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid substrate is washed with an aqueous wash medium and subsequently dried, preferably at a temperature of less than 40.degree. C. and a low odor meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid is also provided by this invention.
