Abstract
A food product preparation process wherein the food product is cold blended in a large kettle. The blended food product is filled from the large kettle into a plurality of containers and the filled containers sealed. The sealed containers and their food products are preheated in a preheat vessel. The preheated containers are then passed through a hydrostatic sterilizer, thereby sterilizing the food products in them.
