Abstract
A bonded fibrous wet laid web containing cellulose acetate fibers, a bicomponent fiber including a polyester or polyamide fiber member and a second member having a melting point 20.degree. C. below that of the first member and an aqueous based organic solvent which solubilizes the surface of the cellulose acetate fibers to permit bonding of said cellulose acetate fibers.
