Abstract
A new process and apparatus for producing carbon black is provided and unique reactor with separate carbon black forming reaction zones is described. The process utilizes such a reactor to give unique carbon blacks which give rise to low hysteresis loss and good wear when used in rubber compounds for reinforcement and particularly in rubber tires.
