Abstract
A tooth-adhesive compound is expressed in terms of the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R.sub.2 may or may not be present; and if present, R.sub.2 is an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2).sub..eta. O--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 -- group in which n=1 or 2, and a substituent containing R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is located at the o-, m- or p-position with respect to the carboxyl group bonded to the phenyl group.
