N,N'-disubstituted piperazines of the general formula I ##STR1## where the group is unsaturated (.dbd.) or saturated (--) and the substituents R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and A have the following meanings: A is --, --CH.dbd., --CH.sub.2 --, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --, R.sup.1 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, alkylcycloalkyl, cycloalkenylalkyl, alkylcycloalkenyl, bicycloalkyl, bicycloalkylalkyl or alkylbicycloalkyl, these radicals being unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxy, halogen, alkoxy or trialkylsilyl, R.sup.1 is further heterocycloalkyl with oxygen and/or sulfur, heterocycloalkylmethyl with oxygen and/or sulfur, alkyl-substituted heterocycloalkylmethyl with oxygen and/or sulfur, and R.sup.2 is alkyl, alkoxy, trimethylsilyl, cycloalkyl, alkylthio, and plant-physiologically tolerated salts thereof, and fungicides containing these compounds.
